A living ecosystem of healing & remembrance.
Traditional Chinese Medicine | Ethnobotany | Ritual | Seasonal nourishment

Healing is cultural. Personal. Political. And deeply ancestral.

My work sits at the intersection of ethnobotany, herbal medicine, and feminine folk traditions. As a doctoral researcher, community herbalist, and medicine maker, I’m committed to preserving and reactivating ancestral knowledge, especially that of rural women and mothers, often left out of clinical and institutional conversations.

This site is a living archive of the remedies, research, and rhythms I’m cultivating, from kitchen apothecaries to global field studies.

Amel Wellness exists to help people remember what the body and Earth have always known; how to nourish, repair, and live in balance.

Every formula, recipe, workshop, written word, and ritual is a small act of ecological restoration: tending soil, tending body, tending spirit. What’s been fragmented by modern life can be rewoven through ancestral foods, plant medicine, breath, and presence.

Here, wellness is not a product but a living system, a garden of care where each person becomes part of the healing web.

For me, Italy pulls me to my matrilineal connections to the land to learn more. I reside in Eastern North America.

Welcome to the work. Welcome to the remembering.
